Tripartite, Inc. acted as developer, builder and architect for the restoration and rehabilitation of the Victorian cottage in Chicago. Work included facade restoration, modification and updating of kitchen, bathrooms, mechanical, electrical and HVAC systems, restoration of finishes, fittings and fixtures.
The project married the restored historic charm of the Victorian cottage with the modern needs of today’s families all under strict budget and time requirements. Remnant porch details were uncovered and restored, and the column and railing were reconstructed to period-appropriate details. Interior mechanical systems were cleverly hidden within the structure.
