The Broseley Pipeworks is a 350 year old complex of 17th through 19th century industrial buildings. Abandoned in 1957, the site was re-opened as a part of the Ironbridge Gorge Museums in 1996. Work included planning and design development, planning for demolition of insignificant structures, and the addition of structures to satisfy the functional requirements of the public museum to operate as a self-sufficient entity of the complex of Ironbridge Gorge Museums.
