Tripartite provided the cost estimating services for Triangle2 Partners for the Broadway Armory Chicago Park District project. Project entailed the master planning of the redevelopment of the park district facility in the historic Broadway armory. Our work included drawing on architectural expertise to assist in the decision making and planning of the major renovation of the early 20th century armory building. The master plan included selective demolition, along with new construction components for a combined commercial and city government parks and recreation facility. Proposed work for the facility included demolition of later additions, restoration of key interior and exterior features of the facility that had been mandated by the Illinois Historic Preservation Agency, exterior façade restoration, major mechanical and electrical systems replacement, toilet room upgrades, modification of interior offices for park district spaces, running track, ADA and code violation upgrades.
